Trapped between paper and glass
I studied arts and humanities, travelled the world, and somehow ended up here, a place where when I say we, I mean you.
In a soundscape of flow state inducing music, multiple ringtones and high-pitched screams, a glass in one hand, I gently slide a utility bill under its eight legs. Trapped between paper and glass, the poor thing is instantly seized with panic, unaware that it has just been saved. I open the window and set it free.
Everyone calms down, and I, too, trapped between paper and glass, resume fearlessly chasing clients to pay their bills.
